We toured large areas of Alberta and
Saskatchewan in the fall of 2000 and looked at lots of Herefords.
"41K" at Shraders really caught our eye. His sire is big and thick,
going back generations to Jim Hole breeding. His dam is about as
picture perfect of a cow as you'll ever see with great femininity and
beautiful udder. "41K" has continued to develop in pleasing fashion
and we made heavy use of him A.I. in 2001 and we like his calves. With
his heritage, we expect him to become a most useful herd sire. |
